Well, no, not exactly.  You're doing real good though!  There are some assumtions being made here that I need to clarify.  First, that this is a standard Ranch Style Gable Roof, not the Red Roof Inn.  You'll be going from one end to the other, all the way up to the peak.  The other assumption is that you are not joining any other roof sections.  When this happens, there is a valley that needs special treatment.  The valley is the area on the roof where the two roofs meet. 

Finishing The Felt

With those two assumptions, let's continue our felt job.  Keep installing the felt until you reach the peak.  Then cross over to the other side of the roof and start at the bottom again, working your way to the top in the same way.  Once you have the top of both sides covered, you'll run another course directly over the peak.  This piece will lay over both sides of the roof.  Try not to pull it too tight, you don't want the peak to cut into the paper, but don't make it sloppy loose either.
Now that you have the roof covered, relax and take a break.  This first layer of defence should withstand a normal rain fall and keep your bed dry.  However, if you want to get it done over the weekend, let's install some drip edge and then call the lumber yard to have them deliver the shingles.
