Sewer Drainage

Well, it's been a long time since my last post. I've been very busy, that's for sure.

I may have mentioned before that we kept having septic problems, I don't remember now. Anyhow, the main kitchen has a septic storage tank in the cafeteria under the floor. There is a pump that lifts black water from the tank and pushes it into the main septic tank in the courtyart. The problem is, they are both so full of liquid that if you run the kitchen pump for too long, black water starts to oose out the cracks in the cement in the courtyard. That is bad.

We found an empty storage tank on the other side of the complex, mostly in ground. It had a pipe hooked to it, but wasn't every used. So we got about 200' of sewer line and redirected a laundry room so that it dumps into that tank, trying to lighten the load on the main storage tank.

This worked for awhile, but again, somebody left the pump on too long and it flowed over. So we decided to hook the pump up to our new line too. Took the better part of a day, but now they can leave the pump running as long as they want and it doesn't affect the main tank. It flows a couple of hundred feet into the hardly used tank. Last I checked, all the liquid is leeching into the ground as fast as we can pump it in.

I also took the opportunity to hardwire the pump to a switch. You previously had to plug it into an outlet across the room. It was somewhat difficult and not very elegant, to say the least. Now it is a simple flip of the switch.

Everybody is very happy and the best part, the cafeteria doesn't stink anymore when you run the pump. ;)

Following my own exploration, billions of people all over the world receive the mortgage loans at various creditors. Hence, there's a good possibility to get a short term loan in every country.
