I just fineshed gutting my house, pulling the roof off and adding a second floor. All the windows are in and it is roofed , basically weathertight. The house is on a slab so i was having some issues with what to do for a heating system. I got my building permit for the house and now i am trying to do a mechanical closet off the back of the house. Do you think i need a full foundation for the closet or could i put sona tubes in and build a platform and walls on top of that. The room is going to be about 6' x 10'. It will house a burner oil tank and water heater.
