draintiles

what is the best way to install a draintile from the sump pump drain. it is currently above ground emptying into the yard.

This is a bit of a tough one

This is a bit of a tough one because there are so many factors to consider. Are you in the city or out in the country? I would assume you're in the country since you're not wanting to tie into the main drain.

Maybe if you could give me a little more detail about what you're doing and why, I could offer some suggestions.

i am in the city. excuse my

i am in the city. excuse my ignorance on the topic, but i will try to explain it better.

the pump i am taking about is expelling the any extra water collected from the around the house, there is a 1 1/2" pvc pipe coming out from the back of the house about 1' above ground and is about 6" long. the builder place a 3" (or so) 8' long pvc pipe from the one from the house and this was emptying into the backyard.

i have since had sod laid and have done some landscaping. i had the sod people lay a drain tile (the 4" diameter black flexible hosing) directly under the 6" pipe coming from the house and it extends about 6' from the house. it is buried and at the end it extends back out above ground.

if you could send me your e-mail i can attached a jpeg showing how it looks now.

thanks.
