Register your phone with the National Do Not Call Registry to avoid receiving unwanted marketing calls.
Have you ever been disrupted by an unwanted call from a telemarketer when you are watching your favorite TV show or late in the night when you are sleeping?
If so, you’re not alone.
To stop this your first step is to register your phone number with the FCC's Do-Not-Call Registry.
When you've registered callers are only allowed to call you when they
- have established a business relationship with you,
- have you prior written permission,
- do not call commercially or do not include unsolicited advertisements.
Consumers can register their residential and cell telephone, by telephone or by Internet at no cost.
In addition to the Do-Not-Call Registry the caller-id will also reduce the number of telemarketing calls to your phone.
With the caller-id you should know who is is calling you] because they are required transmit caller-id information and do not allowed to block their number.
When you register your phone number with the FCC unsolicited phone calls to your home before 8 am or after 9 pm are not allowed.
Callers have to provide you with these additional information which will also decreased telemarketing calls to your phone:
- The Caller also must provide you the name of the entity on whose behalf the call is being made.
- A telephone number or address at which you may contact that entity.
- Anyone making a phone solicitation call to your phone must provide his/her name.
You can register your phone number at no cost. Your phone number will remain for five years on the national do-not-call list. You may re-enter your number when the five years have passed, and you may remove your phone number from the list at any time.

However, modern dressings
However, modern dressings include gauzes (which may be impregnated with an agent designed to help sterility or
to speed healing), films, gels, foams, hydrocolloids, alginates, hydrogels and polysaccharide pastes, granules and
beads.Applying a dressing is a first aid skill, although many people undertake the practice with no training –
especially on minor wounds. Modern dressings will almost all come in a prepackaged sterile wrapping, date coded to
ensure sterility.

Wood "drop-in" replacement
Wood "drop-in" replacement windows and vinyl windows are designed to sit in place of the existing sashes and are constructed at 3 1/4" thickness in most cases. These type windows sit in the opening where the top and bottom sash originally moved in their respective wooden "tracks" The stop between the two sashes must also be removed in this type of refurbishment or retro fit installation. It requires minimal movement of existing trims both inside and out.
