Things are going great here in Chapultapec, Mexico. As most of you probably know, I've moved here for about a year to work on an orphanage that is in great need of repair. This building was started some 16 years ago and the place was never finished. The owner died and so there was no one to do the work. My family has moved down here to get things fixed up so that they can house more children and poor families.

There are several apartment style rooms in this building. Most of these have only drywall hung. There is also a lot of water damage due to a leaky roof.

I'm going to be blogging the entire process and documenting everything done. I'll also be using this opportunity to demonstrate home improvement techniques.
